The Hong Kong - Vienna Music Festival was a remarkable cultural collaboration between the two cities, featuring hundreds of musicians and participants from various education institutions and industry sectors.

 

The Festival provided a multi-dimensional platform for cultural exchange through concerts, educational workshops, music camps, training tours, and community programs.

 

The presentation of Mahler's Symphony No.8 by over 250 musicians under the baton of Hong Kong-born conductor Jimmy Chiang at the inaugural year of the Festival set the foundation for an exchange of vibrant music and artistic passion between the two cities.
